Full-Time Caregiver Job Available in Canada
Home Instead was established in 1994 by Paul and Lori Hogan in Omaha, Nebraska. Motivated by their personal experience caring for Paul’s 90-year-old grandmother, they aimed to provide personalized, in-home care that would allow seniors to age comfortably in their own homes.
Their grandmother became Home Instead’s first client and the company has since grown into a global network of over 1,200 franchise locations dedicated to enhancing the lives of aging adults and their families.
In August 2021, Home Instead joined forces with Honor Technology, a San Francisco-based company specializing in home care services. This strategic partnership combined Home Instead’s extensive network and expertise in senior care with Honor’s advanced technology platform, creating the world’s largest home care service network.
Together, they are advancing how society cares for older adults by integrating high-touch care with innovative technological solutions.
Throughout its history, Home Instead has been recognized for its commitment to quality care and innovation. The company has received accolades such as the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation in 2016 and the Princess Royal Training Award in both 2016 and 2019.
These honors reflect Home Instead’s dedication to providing exceptional training for its caregivers and delivering outstanding service to clients worldwide.
